Updated Regulations for Mississippi

Effective July 1, 2024, the state of Mississippi will enforce an update telephone solicitation policy. According to the updated ruling, “An insurer or producer may not make or cause to be made a telephone solicitation for the purpose of advertising the sale or soliciting the purchase of a Medicare supplement policy or certificate”. The exception to this updated policy is if a person or client (prospective or current policyholder) has first initiated a call with a company or producer, regarding a Medicare Advantage plan, you, as a producer, are allowed to advertise or solicitate Medicare Advantage Plans.
