Cancer & Heart Attack/Stroke Insurance may be great fit for your Med Supp clients

Nearly everyone knows someone who has been diagnosed with cancer or heart disease. And people who are 65 and older have a higher risk of developing these conditions. When you are meeting with your potential Medicare Supplement clients during open enrollment, try cross-selling a Cancer & Heart Attack/Stroke policy. Cancer & Heart Attack/Stroke coverage are part of Critical Advantage℠ Portfolio. These policies have a lifetime coverage option that can be issued up to age 89. IUL Participation Rate and Cap Rate Changes

Effective November 10, 2019, we will be making changes to our participation rates and cap rates on our Income Advantage IUL and Life Protection Advantage IUL products. The slight decreases to the rates come as a result of the current rate environment and the increased market volatility, which causes an increase in options costs. These rate changes will apply to newly issued policies, as well as to any in force policies with a segment that is created (with new premium dollars) or renews on November 10th. With the sweep feature, all money received in the home office on or before

LTC Underwriting Guide Update

First announced in our April 2019 Underwriting Operation teleconference, the LTC field underwriting guide has been updated to include the newest guideline improvement: TENS units are now accepted.
