GWIC updates Final Expense portfolio On May 1, 2021, Great Western Insurance Company (GWIC®) will adjust the Final Expense product portfolio. What is changing The minimum age on the Assurance Plus product will change from age 40 to age 50. The minimum face amount will increase to $2,500 on the Assurance Plus product. 7702 changes Background With the passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 on December 27, 2020, a change was made to Section 7702 of the Internal Revenue Code.
