Long-Term Care Insurance Product Updates Effective June 3, 2024, the Maximum Monthly Benefit will increase from $10,000 to $15,000 on our MutualCare Solutions long-term care products! This will allow clients to access additional benefits if needed and provide a greater sense of security if a long-term care event occurs. Monthly benefit amounts range from $1,500 to $15,000 per month with this new increase*. The total Maximum Monthly Benefit, including long-term care coverage from other companies, will also increase to $15,000. South Carolina Tobacco Rating Change and Customer Refunds

Tobacco rating changes have been made in the state of South Carolina. The State of South Carolina has provided us with additional clarification on how we should be using the Tobacco rating during Open Enrollment (OE) and Guaranteed Issue (GI) situations on the Mutual of Omaha block of business. Moving forward, we will no longer be using Tobacco rating during OE/GI situations. We have updated our materials and internal system with this change. New EFT/PAC Form We are pleased to announce that we have an improved Electronic Funds Transfer/Pre-Authorized Check (EFT/PAC) form designed to help get policies placed and delivered faster and easier than before! The new form will be available for each state starting May 19, 2023. It will be available through the E-APP and in the Application and Forms option under the New Business dropdown on the Agent Resource Center. It will replace the existing Pre-Authorized Check form in all states. Upload Delivery Requirements Beginning Friday, April 28, 2023, you will be able to upload delivery requirements on the Agent Resource Center! Please see below for instructions. The link to upload the requirements will be located under the New Business Dropdown. You will be taken to this screen. You will need to enter the policy number, the name of the policyholder and upload the delivery requirements. Once the “Submit” button is selected, a pop up will generate letting you know the documents were transmitted to the NGL Long Term Care Administration Office. A confirmation email will also be sent to you.
