Wellabe Debt Recovery Process

Debt Recovery Process As of Oct. 16, 2023, our updated debt recovery process will be effective, and agents’ debts will be addressed accordingly. Generally, a debit balance is created when an agent receives an advance commission, and the policy terminates before that commission was earned. If you have outstanding debts, Wellabe will reach out to you twice over a 60-day period. GoldenCare will be copied on such messages and will also be in communication regarding debt repayment. If payments are continually missed, the agent will have their Agent Agreement terminated and their obligation will be reported to Vector One.

Mutual of Omaha has filed for rate increases in the state of South Carolina. Although approval is pending, South Carolina requires carriers to notify policyholders of the rate adjustment request via letter.
