Important Contracting and Pre-Appointment Requirement for Montana and Pennsylvania

What is happening? Mutual of Omaha has implemented Just-In-Time (JIT) contracting and appointment status for Montana and Pennsylvania. JIT appointments allow Mutual of Omaha to hold the producer appointment until the producer submits business.   What does this mean? Montana and Pennsylvania are pre-appointment states and they require a producer to have an approved and effective state appointment when submitting new business applications in these states. If you are writing business in Montana or Pennsylvania, you are responsible for contacting Mutual of Omaha to request your state appointment be placed into effective status prior to signing the application.   What

ClearCert: New LTCi Training Certification Tool

Effective August 25, 2022, Mutual of Omaha enlisted the services of ClearCert for Long-Term Care training certification requirements. What is ClearCert? ClearCert is an import tool that allows us to track certifications. Training certifications will automatically be uploaded and recorded in the Mutual of Omaha Producer Services system if the vendor they completed the Long-Term Care training through is a ClearCert subscriber.
