In late November, we announced our new implementation of our Amazon Connect phone system for Life and Health Service and Claims. The Call Experience visual depicts the new experience. New Email Notifications for Clients on Direct Bill

Beginning Thursday, December 13th, we will begin sending email notifications when a renewal premium is due for individual life and individual health customers on direct bill. There are three separate emails the customer may receive when the premium is due: An email notification 10 days prior to the premium due date. DI Success Tips-Common Medical Conditions

When your client has a medical condition, it does not necessarily mean they won’t be considered for Disability Income Insurance. Here are some common medical conditions that can still be covered. Hypertension — this is something you may encounter often. Your client may be issued coverage if they have condition well controlled and are diligent about medical follow-ups. Diabetes — this will require a medical records review. If your client is well-controlled with an A1c of 7.0 or less, on one oral medication, does not have high blood pressure and is at a healthy weight, they should be issued coverage.

Policy Delivery Receipt Requirement Reminder (Disability)

As a reminder, a signed delivery receipt is required for all Priority Income Protection (PIP) and Disability Income Choice policies issued in Louisiana, South Dakota and West Virginia. The delivery receipt is included within the policy package and must be signed and returned to the home office within the 30 day delivery period.
