Change Made to Short-term and Accident Only Disability Policies in PA
Effective June 1, 2018, short-term and accident only disability policies will no longer offer the 3-month benefit period in Pennsylvania. The 3-month benefit period will no longer be an option on the application and WinFlex illustration. This change is only effective for PA and does not change the other DI products sold in that state. Applications for the 3-month benefit period in PA will not be accepted after June 1, 2018, but applications in-house before June 1 will be processed.
