MA Disenrollment Period Guidelines This is a reminder that the Medicare Advantage Disenrollment Period (MADP) begins Jan. 1, 2017. California Under-Age-65 Change Effective Dec. 17, 2016, Mutual of Omaha will no longer accept under-age-65 new business on the California Medicare supplement High Deductible Plan F. Under-age-65 new business is available for Plans A, F and N only. Application Requirement for Non-English Speaking and/or Reading Applicants If an applicant does not speak and/or read English and requires a translator in order to complete an application, Form MLU25947 must be signed and submitted with the application. #goldencareagent

Combined mailings for Medicare Supplement household discount policies

Starting December 14, when two Medicare Supplement policies with a household discount are issued on the same day, both policies will be mailed together, addressed to the primary policyholder. Both policyholders’ ID cards will be mailed together in a seperate envelope from the policies. This change will not apply to household policies that are mailed to the agent. Update: 2017 Individual Medicare administrative fee payments

We recently started processing and paying administrative fees for January 2017 enrollments submitted during the Annual Election Period (AEP). Information on administrative fee payments can be found in the Aetna Medicare Producer Guide and in Appendix A of your 2017 Aetna Medicare Marketing Agreement (i.e., contract). Rates are in the Schedule 1 attached to your contract.
