Combined mailings for Medicare Supplement household discount policies

Starting December 14, when two Medicare Supplement policies with a household discount are issued on the same day, both policies will be mailed together, addressed to the primary policyholder. Both policyholders’ ID cards will be mailed together in a seperate envelope from the policies. This change will not apply to household policies that are mailed to the agent. We recently started processing and paying administrative fees for January 2017 enrollments submitted during the Annual Election Period (AEP). Information on administrative fee payments can be found in the Aetna Medicare Producer Guide and in Appendix A of your 2017 Aetna Medicare Marketing Agreement (i.e., contract).
