State Long-Term Care Insurance Programs

Insight, details and the impact the Washington Cares Fund program is having on the entire LTCi industry.

In early January 2022, GoldenCare held our special annual Industry Updates webinar. This year, the focus was on the Washington Cares Program, the new exemption language and potential for requiring proof of coverage for ongoing exemption verification.

Other states are considering similar programs. Steve predicts the potential impact if opt-out deadlines are required prior to the announcement of a given state’s plan.
