Update to Gerber Life’s pre-assigned ID contracting process

Pre-Assigned ID Contract Processing Temporarily On-Hold

 

Thank you for your partnership with Gerber Life Insurance. Our goal has always been to provide you with the best service possible. To improve our appointment turnaround time, we are changing the focus on how we process contracts.

We are temporarily stopping the option for Pre-Assigned ID’s and going back to Just-In-Time (JIT) processing. What does this mean for you and your Agents?

  • Just-In-Time states: Your Agents first piece of business should be submitted via paper along with their contracting
  • Call Center: Your Agents contracting should be submitted prior to submitting business
  • Pre-Appointment States (AL, LA, PA & TX): Your Agents contracting should be submitted prior to submitting business

With the above-mentioned changes, we will no longer accept Pre-Assigned ID requests after February 12th, 2021. Any request received after the cut off, will be closed out and a notice will be provided to the contact on file.

As an additional step towards improving turnaround times, we are utilizing SureLC to allow our partners to submit their downline contracting directly into the Gerber Life system. We are also working on a similar process using a fillable PDF contract kit. We highly encourage all agents and uplines to use either SureLC or our fillable PDF solution once it is available. More to come on our fillable PDF solution soon.
