Thrivent LTC: Committed to supporting your business

Committed to supporting your long-term care business
Know that our goals remains to get all LTC applications submitted prior to June 17 issued by Nov. 1. Our underwriting and case management team is currently working over-time and weekends to make this happen.

We have done many things, including but not limited to adding staff, technology improvements, and offering overtime to help handle the increased volume. We are vigorously pursuing additional options to enable the team to work through the high pending volume and process this important business as quickly as possible.

I’ll provide you another update early next month to keep you informed on overall status, as well as to provide information to help your Washington clients apply for the exemption.

How you can help

  • Allow case managers to use their time to get contracts issued. Time spent gathering information to respond to your status requests limits their time to issue contracts. Be assured that case managers will be proactively contacting you with urgent updates.
  • For applications already submitted, please encourage clients to take care of any outstanding requirements or schedule any needed health interviews ASAP.

Thank you for your continued patience. My team and I remain firmly in your corner.
