We are extremely excited to announce that AM Best has upgraded GTL’s Financial Strength Rating to A- (Excellent) from B++ (Good) by AM Best! GTL’s Long Term Issuer Credit Rating was also upgraded to “a-“.
In today’s press release, AM Best noted that the upgrade reflects GTL’s strong balance sheet strength as well as our strong operating performance. It also stated that “The ratings upgrade for GTL reflects favorable long-term trend of operating results attributed to its hospital indemnity product, Medicare Supplement and its short-term care premium growth.”
