Upcoming rate adjustment for Med Supp

Effective March 1, 2024, there will be a rate adjustment for Med Supp policies underwritten by Lumico Life Insurance Company (Lumico) in select states.

For FL only

• New policies will continue to be underwritten by Lumico in Florida. Please note the following cut off dates:
  • Applications signed on or after 2/1/24, with a requested effective date on or after 3/1/24, will be subject to the new rate.
  • Applications signed on or before 1/31/24, with a requested effective date on or after 3/1/24, will receive the current rate.
• For IA, KY, MO, ND, NV, OK, PA, SD, WI, WV and WY:
  • In KY, ND, PA, WI and WV, rate adjustments affect closed Lumico block of business and new business may be submitted on Elips Life paper.
  • In IA, MO, NV, OK, SD and WY, rate adjustments affect closed Lumico block of business.
