Two-Factor Authentication – Changes Effective July 1

In December 2018, Securian Financial implemented Two-Factor Authentication for access to SecurianAdvisor.com. The authentication period was configured for at least once each week.

Effective July 1, 2019, the authentication period will change to 24 hours, which will require each user to authenticate using Two-Factor each day (or every 24 hours).

This change provides additional security protection against malicious user impersonation, unauthorized access, and aligns with industry best practice.
