Do you know about the four optional riders available at the time of sale for a Critical Advantage policy? They are a great way to add extra value and protection to an already strong base policy. Below is a brief description of our optional riders. As always, some riders may vary by state. Please refer to our Critical Advantage Product & Underwriting Guide for full details.
Cancer Rider — Pays a lump-sum benefit upon the diagnosis of cancer (internal cancer or malignant melanoma).
Heart Attack & Stroke Rider — Pays a lump-sum benefit upon the diagnosis of a heart attack or stroke or the performance of coronary angioplasty surgery or coronary artery bypass surgery.
Intensive Care Unit Rider — Pays a daily room benefit for each day of confinement in an intensive care unit of a hospital as the result of sickness or injury.
Cash Value Rider — Provides a percentage of all premiums paid for the policy and all riders, minus the amount of any benefits paid in all claims for all insured persons.
