Due to flooding in and around Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties in Illinois, the following accommodations will be made available to our affected insureds:
- MedAmerica will withdraw any cancellation notice issued on or after July 12, 2017, to an affected insured. In addition, MedAmerica will not issue any new cancellation notice to affected insureds until September 30, 2017.
- MedAmerica will grant affected insureds an extension of any and all coverage provisions or other requirements that impose a time limit for an insured to perform any act, including the submission of a claim, reporting of information, submission of bills, or payment of funds. Such extension will be until November 29, 2017.
