Empathy and Understanding In Business quickly climbed the ranks on Amazon best-sellers charts with its release. Raymond’s chapter, “Empathy In A Time of Need,” played an important role in the book’s success.
Raymond Lavine is a principal at Lavine LTC Benefits, specializing in long-term care insurance benefits for individuals, families, and businesses. His advocacy of LTC benefits stems from personal experiences, as his father required care multiple times during his career. Raymond’s mother, an attorney who lived to the age of 103, also recognized the need and utilized an LTC plan for 18 years.
Raymond Lavine has made several appearances on television and podcasts, discussing topics related to long-term care insurance and other financial matters. He is a U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction in the 82nd Airborne Division in the U.S. and the 173rd Airborne Brigade in combat operations in Vietnam. His military service has earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Army Airborne Parachute Badge, Purple Heart, Air Medal, and Bronze Star.
Currently, Raymond is honing his negotiating skills with The Black Swan Group and is an avid reader of history and biography. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California, an MBA, and an M.A. from the Drucker-Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. Raymond Lavine also possesses the CLTC designation.
