LTC Time Service Update

Mutual of Omaha would like to thank you for the business we have received, and continue to receive, due to your partnership! We are committed to keeping you updated on our service times. Our current time service levels are listed below. Please note that business days do not include weekends.

Current Long-Term Care Service Levels:

  • Application Entry: Within 3 business days
  • New Business Review: Within 24 hours of receipt
  • Pending Requirements Reviewed: Within 2 business days
  • Approve to Issue Time: Within 2 business days
  • Emails and Phone Calls Returned: Within 24 hours of receipt

Tools to Help
Here are some tools and steps you can take to get your business processed as quickly as possible:

  • List your client’s cell phone number on the application to utilize our text message telephone interview scheduler
  • Use the build chart in the LTC Underwriting Guide to quote appropriately
  • Make sure your clients have had a physical and lab work in the past 2 years
  • Submit a pre-screen request to ltcunderwriting@mutualofomaha.com. Underwriting pre-screen emails are returned within 4 hours of receipt
  • Pending status can be found on the case pending status report on Sales Professional Access (SPA)
