iPipeline Product Drop Down Update

On December 1, 2021, we are updating the iPipeline product type drop-downs. Here’s everything you need to know.

What’s Changing

  • We are adding a NEW product type drop-down, Indexed Universal Life, where you can find all Indexed Universal Life products. Beginning December 16, 2021, these products will no longer be listed under the Universal Life product drop-down.
  • We made minor changes to the application names for Term Life, Whole Life, and Universal Life products. Please note, these changes will not affect your pending applications.
  • For a detailed look at the changes, including screenshots of the new drop-downs, please refer to this overview.

Transition for Indexed Universal Life Applications
The Indexed Universal Life products will be listed under both the Universal Life product type and the new Indexed Universal Life product type for a two-week transition period so you can access any pending applications – without losing any information.

Below is a guide for how to submit your Indexed Universal Life applications based on the case status from December 1-15, 2021.

Locked Case — Select Universal Life as the product type, select the product, pull up the locked case, finalize signatures and submit.

Unlocked Case — Select Indexed Universal Life as the product type, select the product, pull up the case and everything from your pending application will be mapped over. We recommend you review the information for accuracy. You will then be able to complete the application and submit.

New Case — Select Indexed Universal Life, select the product, complete the application and submit.
 
Important Notes

  • There will be messaging on iPipeline alerting you to the changes and directing you where to go.
  • After December 15, 2021, you will no longer be able to access your pending Indexed Universal Life applications in the Universal Life product type. Please submit all pending applications before December 15, 2021, for the easiest transition.
