This excitement has led us to carefully review and enhance our Home Health Care offering, ensuring it continues to meet the highest standards of quality and excellence possible.
What’s New?
- Issue ages updated to now be 45-89
- Skilled Nursing Care (RN) and General Nursing Care (LPN/LVN) are now combined into one nursing care benefit.
Additional New Benefit Riders:
- Routine Annual Physical Examination Benefit Rider
- Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit Rider
- Home Medical Equipment Benefit Rider
- Accident Expense Benefit Rider
Home Health Care Aide
The Home Health Care Aide benefit is now immediately available to insureds and no longer requires a 3-day prior hospitalization stay.
Available States
The legacy Home Health Care offering will remain in the following states until additional HHC Select approvals are received: AK, CO, DC, DE, HI, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, NC, OH, PA, TN
In the upcoming days, valued HHC policyholders who have purchased their policy from ManhattanLife on or after June 1, 2021, can expect to receive a letter and a policy endorsement from ManhattanLife in their mailbox. This communication will inform them that their existing policy has been enhanced to the upgraded HHC Select policy.
If a current policyholder desires to upgrade their benefits or add one of the additional riders now available, the agent must submit a new application for the policyholder.
