Arkansas Governor had issued an Executive Order 19-05 declaring a state of emergency due to severe weather and flooding. The Arkansas Department of Insurance issued a Bulletin 4-2019, dated May 30, 2019, to comply with the Executive Order.

The Bulletin, in part states the following:

• Requires insurance companies to grant an extension of the grace period for sixty days beginning on May 21, 2019 and continuing until July 20, 2019 for policyholders residing within the impacted areas.
• This includes a moratorium on policy cancellations due to non-payment of premium. The moratorium is effective May 21, 2019 through July 20, 2019.
