Ace Proof of disenrollment from Medicare Advantage Important Update

MA disenrollment rules:

For applicants age 65 and older, a policy can be issued without proof of MA disenrollment if the Replacement question on the application indicates a planned termination or END date that is prior to or matches the effective date of the ACE policy.

If no termination/END date is indicated on the application – MA disenrollment proof will be required, or the agent can make a correction to the application to indicate the termination/END date.

For any applicant that is on an MA plan due to disability and applies to replace their MA plan with ACE – MA disenrollment proof will be required.
