Bowers the new partnership between LeadingAge and the Gerontology Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston to create the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston, which she will co-direct with Marc Cohen, Ph.D., leader of long-term services and supports research at the Gerontology Institute.”

LTCI friend and highly regarded researcher Marc Cohen recently authored a draft article with Judith Feder. Now he’s partnering with Robyn Stone. Feder and Stone advocate further government expansion into long-term care financing. They’ve both criticized private LTC insurance severely. Will Marc bring them around? Or will he be seduced by the sirens’ call of their easy, but potentially catastrophic solution, i.e., another compulsory government entitlement program with escalating unfunded liabilities? Only time will tell, but how interesting to observe!
