Republicans swept the White House and BOTH chambers of Congress, to the surprise of even the most political of wonks.  Like a kid who had found extra presents under the Christmas tree, the American Health Care Association’s lead lobbyist, Clifton J. Porter II, said perspectives changed overnight.”

Some very interesting perspectives on why LTC providers are turning ebullient over the Trump/Republican sweep and prospects.  To wit:  receptive appointees at HHS and CMS; less stringent regulations expected; maybe no ban of pre-dispute arbitration clauses; less push for minimum wages, etc.  What a difference an election day makes!
