New Functionality on Customer Access

We wanted to make you aware of some recent improvements to Customer Access that make it even easier for your clients to manage their Mutual of Omaha account anytime, anywhere. The following two improvements are now available:

  • Beneficiary Changes — Clients can now view beneficiary information and request beneficiary changes online for new inforce life insurance policies. Changes are easy to make and eliminate the need to fill out and submit paper documents. Once the change is made, we will still send written confirmation of the beneficiary change to ensure accurate data. Any beneficiary changes requested on or after August 6, 2018 will also be available for viewing online.
  • Loan Requests — Clients who have a cash value on their whole life or universal life policies (excluding indexed universal life) can now request a loan online. The available loan value is easy to see. And, once a loan is requested, the loan checks are typically mailed within one to two days.

In late August, we will inform clients of these new features by sending an email to all policyholders who have an email address on file with Mutual of Omaha. This email will also provide clients with the steps to log-in to the Customer Access center on mutualofomaha.com.
