Help Clients Plan Ahead with the New Long-Term Care Rider

Help Clients Plan Ahead

Did You Know?
According to a 2017 report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, almost 70 percent of people over age 65 will require long-term care services — for an average of three years. And, 20 percent of those individuals will need that care for longer than five years.

Long-term care services can quickly erode a client’s assets. United of Omaha just introduced a new Long-Term Care Rider to help your clients plan ahead — and protect their estate.

  • Available on both Income AdvantageSM IUL and Life Protection AdvantageSM IUL
  • Provides benefits for Nursing Home, Assisted Living, Home Health Care and Adult Day Care
  • 1%, 2%, or 4% maximum monthly benefits
  • Maximum total benefits up to 100% of the initial specified death benefit1
  • 90-calendar-day elimination period that only needs to be satisfied once in the insured’s lifetime

And, one of the things that differentiates United of Omaha from the competition — if you find out the client doesn’t qualify for the LTC Rider coverage, the policy will automatically be issued with the Chronic Illness Rider, at no additional cost.
