Staying true to our roots

Throughout this exciting and transformative time, the fundamentals of who we are will not change.

  • All of our businesses will adopt the Securian Financial brand.
  • The names of the companies that underwrite our products will not change. Securian Financial Group Inc. is the parent company of Minnesota Life Insurance Company and Securian Life Insurance Company, and our products will continue to be underwritten by those long-established and highly-rated companies.1
  • Securian Financial will continue to maintain its mutual holding company structure. We’re not publicly traded, so we can remain focused on meeting the needs of our customers and the people who serve them, rather than shareholders.
  • Our company values remain foundational to who we are and how we do business.

What happens next?

You and your clients will start seeing the new Securian Financial brand appearing in advertising and communications starting in May.

There’s no action needed from you or your clients during this transition – it’s business as usual. We appreciate your patience as we update our websites and communications to our new look throughout 2018.
