Have you spent time looking at the new IUL illustrations that were introduced in July? There were many new features, including a complete redesign to improve the look, updates to the language to make it more client-friendly, a Your Policy Highlights section that gives clients a quick overview of the key benefits, and new table layouts to make the ledgers easier to read.

One enhancement that you may not have noticed is the new Table of Contents.
While a Table of Contents may not seem like a ‘wow’ feature, it can definitely help you quickly navigate to where you need to go when you are presenting the illustration to a client on your computer screen. Once you have opened the pdf, you can simply click on where you want to go in the Illustration Contents menu and it will take you right there (Note: You will want to click in the Illustration Contents menu shown below, NOT the Table of Contents in the Adobe Acrobat program menu). And, when you want to return to the Illustration Contents menu, just click the ‘Home’ button on your keyboard and it will take you right back to the cover page.
