The state of Iowa requires the completion of the education course “Introduction to Indexed Products” prior to taking applications for any Indexed Universal Life products. Please ensure a copy of the course completion certificate is submitted to Mutual of Omaha’s contracting and licensing department. When submitting an e-App in the state of Iowa you will notice a blue informational box regarding Iowa’s requirements. There is an additional yes/no question on the application asking for confirmation if you have completed the required certification. If you have not completed the certification you will need to do so before submitting Indexed Universal Life
