Q: Why does the status for initial applications submitted by new agent’s read “Pending Agent appointment”? A: When new agents submit their 1st application, this is when the background check will be initiated. Background checks usually take 3-5 business days depending on the state. Rest assured, your applications are still being processed while we wait on the background check. Once the background check is completed, an update will occur in the ARC Agent Resource Center.
