S&P Affirms Mutual of Omaha’s Financial Rating
Standard & Poor’s (S&P) has affirmed its AA- (Stable) rating for Mutual of Omaha. The rating assesses the company’s overall financial strength and stable outlook. AA- is the fourth highest of 21 ratings issued by S&P.
S&P noted Mutual’s strong capital adequacy position, strong competitive position in several product lines, most notably Medicare Supplement and our well-organized brand as a basis supporting the rating.
