Marty Johnson, Vice President, Head of Individual Life and Health Underwriting has announced his retirement at the end of 2022. Marty has been instrumental in building strong relationships with our brokerage partners and developing effective underwriting practices for Mutual of Omaha’s Individual Health and Life product lines. We thank Marty for his dedication to Mutual of Omaha and the industry.
As you may know, Virginia Craig joined Mutual of Omaha as Vice President of Individual Underwriting in January of this year in anticipation of Marty’s retirement. She has been actively involved in getting acquainted with Mutual of Omaha’s underwriting practices and procedures while combining her vast knowledge and experience to build our future underwriting strategy.
Effective immediately, Virginia will assume the role of Vice President, Head of Individual Life and Health Underwriting. Marty will continue to work closely with Virginia serving as an internal consultant.
Please help us congratulate Marty on his many contributions to Mutual of Omaha and wish him well on his impending retirement. We look forward to embracing a new chapter for our talented underwriting teams under the direction of Virginia, and to continue to provide responsible underwriting decisions and services to our valued business partners.
