Wasn’t it just yesterday we wondered what baby boomers would do with the inheritance windfall that was about to land in their bank accounts? Now it’s boomers themselves about to bequeath trillions of dollars to their heirs. Let’s hope succeeding generations do a better job of protecting their newfound wealth from long-term care costs than their boomer parents did.
