Producer requirements for training continuation states:
"A four-hour refresher course must be completed every 2 years from the date the initial training was completed."

"The American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (AALTCI) has come out with a new long-term care (LTC) benefits product cost comparison analysis. AALTCI looked at how much a consumer might pay to get long-term care benefits through a stand-alone long-term care insurance policy, versus how much the same consumer might pay to get the same amount of benefits through a life insurance policy that offers LTC benefits.”

Securian Financial reports strong 2019
Securian Financial announced preliminary 2019 financial results at its annual all-company meeting in late February, highlighted by strong revenue growth and increased community giving.
"In 2019, we delivered excellent operating performance consistent with our 140-year history of outstanding financial strength,” said Chris Hilger, Securian Financial’s chairman, president and CEO.

Life insurance inforce payments going to new address
Effective February 2020, all life insurance payments for inforce policies will go to our new PO Box addresses – one for Securian Life Insurance Company and another for Minnesota Life Insurance Company.
If payments are sent to our old address after this date, they will be forwarded to Securian Financials’ home office until 2021. Please note, for clients with direct billing payments through a bank, they may need to update our address with their bank.
