"A four-hour refresher course must be completed every 2 years from the date the initial training was completed."

Labor Day Office Closing
 
Mutual of Omaha and its affiliates (United of Omaha, Companion Life Insurance Company, United World) will be closed on Monday, September 3rd for Labor Day.
 
We will be open on Columbus Day; however, the cut-off dates, times and pay schedules will be affected by the holiday.

Legacy Rate Adjustments Effective November 1, 2018
 
Mutual of Omaha will be implementing rate adjustments in Georgia effective November 1, 2018.
 
Policyholders will receive a letter notifying them at least 60 days prior to the premium rate increase. The effective date of the premium rate increase will be listed in this notification. Notification to all affected policyholders will be mailed by September 1, 2018 to ensure policyholders in the approved states receive notification of their November 1, 2018 premium rate increase.

Web Adoption Efforts Targeted at Life Insurance Consumers
 
We have improved our consumer website, My Genworth, and will continue to make improvements throughout 2018. Consequently, we are embarking on a campaign to increase consumer web adoption and usage. Look for more communications about our enhancements and web adoption efforts throughout the year.
 

 

 

TransQuote Expiration Date Extension and myTransware Census Quote Support
 
Transamerica is currently in the process of transitioning from the TransQuote® illustration software to myTransware as the primary illustration software for all Long Term Care insurance product quotes. Both the old TransQuote illustration tool and the new myTransware illustration tool are currently available from the ARC website.
 
TransQuote will remain available until 5:00 p.m. CT October 19, 2018. After this expiration date, all links to TransQuote will be removed from the ARC website.
 


Transamerica: Holiday Closure Sept. 3
 
The Transamerica Long Term Care administrative office in Plano, TX will be closed Monday, September 3, 2018 to mirror hours of the New York Stock Exchange. Please allow additional time if necessary to order and receive materials during that time. Much of the important materials and resources you may need will be continue to be available on our Agent Resource Center.
