Connecticut Partnership Announces New Minimum Daily Benefits for 2017
To qualify under the Connecticut Partnership for Long Term Care Insurance, policies are required to meet certain minimum standards. One of these standards requires insurers to provide a daily minimum nursing home benefit. Additionally, for policies issued with home and community-based services, the daily home and community-based benefit, at a minimum, should equal at least 50% of the minimum daily nursing home benefit. Each year, the allowable nursing home daily benefit minimum increases 3.5% greater than the previous year’s minimum.
