This person is charged with gathering all material necessary for an underwriter to make a decision, and is responsible for making sure the application is in good order. Getting the Most from LTC Insurance Policies

Some insurance companies offer LTC policies based on a daily benefit amount. Mutual of Omaha’s policies are based on a monthly benefit. While there are similarities between daily and monthly benefits, there are also significant differences. A daily benefit has a per day maximum which means your clients are reimbursed up to a set amount for each day. If the cost of the service is over this amount your client will have to pay the balance. The interview status report provides up-to-date status of both phone and face-to-face health interviews. It shows the type of request (phone or face-to-face), the status, as well as the dates and details of the activities on the request. Any activity we want to draw attention to will be highlighted in yellow. These highlighted entries will be followed up by an email from a Case Manager. The Mutual of Omaha quoting software (MutualCare Solutions) for the Custom Solution & Secure Solution LTC plans has recently been updated to include illustrations for New York. The latest version is now v3.46.0.0. This illustration software can be accessed by visiting the Software Download page of this site.
