Florida Amends DNC Law, Limits Use of EWP

Florida has recently amended its telemarketing regulations to limit the use of consumer consent with regards to the state Do Not Call laws. The amendment to the state DNC regulations limit the duration of how long a telemarketer may utilize express written consent (EWP) to solicit a consumer. EWP may now only be utilized for up to 18 months from the date the consent was provided in writing to override Florida DNC blocks.
