Prepare for year-end: Review key dates and holiday hours

Thanksgiving office closure, early newsletter deadlines
OneAmerica will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 29. Because of the upcoming holidays, the December issue of Care Solutions News will be distributed on Thursday, Dec. 16.
Postal Service delays
The Unites States Postal Service (USPS) has implemented new service standards for First-Class Mail, beginning Oct. 1. This may be affecting the timing of mail from OneAmerica being delivered to agents. This is likely to become more of an issue as the holidays approach. Meet Jeff Levin, new Vice President of Distribution, Care Solutions
Jeff Levin was recently appointed Vice President of Distribution, Care Solutions. There, he leads divisional vice presidents, regional sales directors and managers, and the account management team in the distribution, sale and support of the Care Solutions line. This includes life and annuity asset-based long-term care products.
Before joining OneAmerica, Jeff spent almost 25 years with Genworth in various LTC distribution, account management, product development, operations and leadership roles. More recently, Jeff was president of an insurance company in the Raleigh Durham area, where he was responsible for business profitability, sales, product, branding, product design and operations.
With his deep commercial experience, Jeff is a collaborative, hands-on leader with a passion for helping others achieve their goals.
Jeff is a fifth-generation native of San Francisco who now lives in the Richmond, Virginia, area. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, reading, listening to music, being outdoors and taking long, winding rides on his motorcycle. Jeff is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
