To sustain our focus on providing comprehensive, lifetime financial solutions for our clients, our patented joint Asset-Care® coverage is now available with 2% or 3% acceleration, and our single life Asset-Care policies also offer a 4% acceleration option.

Operations updates


January interest rate and Guaranteed Interest Rate changes
Effective Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, some OneAmerica® interest rates changed. Annuity Care®, Annuity Care II and Indexed Annuity Care® new money rates decreased. Additionally, the Guaranteed Interest Rate for several OneAmerica products increased. View the rate announcement for full details »
 
Policy premium and loan history requests
To better serve you and your clients, we’re improving the turnaround time for policy premium and loan history requests. In 2018, we delivered these items in seven to 10 business days. We’re reducing that to five business days or less in 2019. Additionally, our revised guidelines for policy premium and loan history requests will improve the consistency and quality of service delivered:

  • We’ll provide up to five years of history.
  • We’ll fulfill up to four requests per year, per policy.
  • We’ll provide premium history for policies on direct billing but not for policies on automatic payment processing (APP).
  • For consistency, our accounting detail will reflect the “applied” date instead of the “received” date.
