Insurance producers who offer or sell long-term care insurance policies or contracts must:

• Advise an individual considering the purchase of long-term care insurance, about the availability and benefits of a policy that qualifies under the Qualified State Long-Term Care Insurance Partnership;
• Provide a disclosure statement, approved by the Commissioner, to each applicant for long-term care insurance about the Qualified State Long-Term Care Insurance Partnership; and
• Maintain records demonstrating that the required disclosure statement was provided to each applicant for long term care insurance and make the disclosure statement available to the Insurance Commissioner for inspection.
