Charles Steele to lead Reserve National as President

Charles Steele joined Kemper on Monday, May 8, 2017 as President of Reserve National, reporting to Mark Green, Kemper’s Life & Health Division President.

Charles will leverage his track record of delivering profitable growth in life and health insurance as he leads all of Reserve National’s businesses including Kemper Senior Solutions. Charles is based in our Oklahoma City office and will be working closely with Kemp Cole and Ray Gordon as we continue to grow and support our Kemper Senior Solutions marketing partners.

Charles has extensive experience managing a business as well as leading large sales forces with multi-channel distribution. Most recently he served as Connecture’s Vice President of Sales for the Brokerage/Aggregator Market, an employee benefits technology company. In earlier roles he was Senior Vice President and Executive Sales Officer for Assurant Health, leading four business-to-business distribution channels with new business premiums of $1.3 billion. In addition he held several other leadership roles within Assurant Health and Great-West Healthcare. Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Whitman College and Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver.
